Dark, brooding, spacey, indulgently long ballad that (hopefully) justifies itself with some interesting chord changes and a heavy space-rock freakout at the end. The '73 Gibson SG Custom really shines on this track--it's the only guitar I really wish I had back.
lyrics
it's hard to concentrate/and who cares if you still care
maybe you're running him to the gate/but he ain't going anywhere
don't lie/if he's been lying next to you
don't lie/just give me the truth
decidedly displaced/and discovered eventually
can't you just give me something to take/with me
don't lie/if he's been lying next to you
don't lie/just give me the truth
it's all wrong/it's alright
can you still feel it collide/three years dying up inside
don't lie/if he's been lying next to you
don't lie/just give me the truth
you have to shoot me/if you want me to be okay
just send me on my way
you have to burn me down/before i can feel again/my soul won't mend
don't lie/if he's been lying next to you
don't lie/just give me the truth
