This is an unfinished demo. The working title was given by former bandmate Joe Thebeau. Haven't gotten around writing the verses although Joe has tossed some ideas out there.
I don't have a bass laying around and the injuries from my motorcycle roadracing incident are interfering with my drumming. It's easier to use the drum machine in the recording software for songwriting purposes anyway so long as it's not a really involved part. The canned drums sound better than what you'd get with one lousy mic too.
lyrics
Chorus 1:
I'm not using/you're just confusing
the issue of what it means/to be using
what you've got to use/it's no use anyway
Chorus 2:
Let's pull a caper/pencil and paper
pin the throttle/brake a little later
it's only cash/we'll probably crash anyway

I have been out of the game for several years so laptop recording is new to me. Despite the decrepit, ossified nature of my laptop, it still ran the trial version of Mixcraft 4.
I am finding this software to be easy to figure out and packed with features. You can have a hell of a lot of fun notebooking your song ideas with it. The sonic defects are the fault of my feeble, old computer and the limitations of its built in microphone. My intent is get the ideas down quick and make it nice later!
